Mikhaela Janna Jimenea Lim (born November 8, 2003) better known as Mikha, is a Filipino artist and performer. She is the third youngest member, main rapper, lead dancer and visual of the Filipino Girl Group BINI.[1]
She entered as a trainee in Star Hunt Academy in 2019.[2]

Mikha's birth name is Mikhaela Janna Lim. She was born in Cebu, then they lived in Sta. Rosa, Laguna for 2 years, moved to Silang, Cavite for 6 years. Her family, her father, her mother, and her two siblings currently live in San Juan City, Metro Manila.[3]

Life and Career[]
2004-2018: Early Life[]
Mikha started to sing when she was a kid because of her dad. Whenever there was a karaoke, she would join her dad and sing along with him. It was just a leisure activity, and she did not join singing competitions. Mikha was a cheerleader in high school, where she was a member of her school's cheerleading squad. Cheer dancing helped Mikha learn to dance, do tumbling, and develop flexibility.[3]
In 2018, she auditioned in the Star Hunt Auditions held in Quezon City.[5]
2019-2020: Star Hunt Academy Trainee[]
Mikha was one of 250 aspirants to undergo the 5-day boot camp and selected to become a trainee in Star Hunt Academy early 2019. Under SHA, she further developed her skills in singing and her dancing skills under Filipino voice coaches Kitchy Molina and Anna Graham, and dance coaches Mickey Perz and Matthew Almodovar. She also undergone the intensive Korean training system with the help of MU Doctor Academy where she learned the Korean practice and discipline in singing and dancing.[6]
Mikha joined her fellow trainees in performing on various ABS-CBN mall shows and other events around the country. She also appeared in a 2019 National Youth Commission event FITFIL: Youth Against Drug, where she was proclaimed as one of Youth Ambassadors. They were also invited to perform at the 2019 Manila Southeast Asian Games thanksgiving celebration.[6]
She continued her training even during Extended Community Quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic. She was locked in along with her co-trainees inside Camp Star Hunt to ensure their safety against the virus.[6]
On October 10, 2020, Mikha became one the last 8 members of Star Hunt Academy Girl Trainees to graduate from the Academy and was announced to officially become part of an idol group.[7]
2020-2021: Pre-debut as BINI and Official Debut[]
On November 2020, Mikha officially became a member of ABS-CBN Entertainment's girl group BINI, which released their pre-debut single "Da Coconut Nut".[8]
On December 4, 2020, Mikha and her co-members in BINI signed an exclusive contract under ABS-CBN Entertainment and Star Magic Philippines, ABS-CBN's talent agency.[9]
In their pre-debut era, she and her fellow BINI members performed their pre-debut single Da Coconut Nut and other song and dance covers in various ABS-CBN Entertainment shows like, It's Showtime, ASAP Natin 'To, and Magandang Buhay.[10]
Their group officially debuted on June 11, 2021, with the release of their debut single Born To Win in a two-part event BINI: The Launch.[11]
