"Kapit Lang" (Lit: 'Hold On') is the third official single of BINI. It was released on September 10, 2021 at 12:00 am PHT as a Digital Single by Star Music.
The lyrics were written by singer/composer Lian Kyla, with the rap lyrics written by BINI member Aiah Arceta. The recording of the song were done by Jonathan Manalo at The Purple Room while the mixing and mastering were done by Theo Martel. The vocal arrangement were done by Anna Achacoso-Graham & Jonathan Manalo.
Background and Release[]
The song, written by Lian Kyla during the COVID-19 Pandemic speaks about encouragements of holding on and staying strong, no matter the circumstances.[1] This was the first single of BINI written in Tagalog.
The first photo teaser for the third single was released on August 30, 2021 at 12:00nn with the caption "Bringing a splash of color". Photo teasers for each member were released everyday along with audio teasers. The Music Video teaser was released the day before the official release.
The official track and Music Video was released simultaneously on September 10, 2021 at 12:00 midnight Philippine time. The release also commemorate World Suicide Prevention Day which is held every 10th of September every year.
The Music Video visuals gives a bright and poppy 2000s vibe that sets a perfect tone for lyrics behind the music.[2]
