BINI: The Launch is the official debut event for ABS-CBN Entertainment's girl group BINI.

The launch was held in two parts. The first part was "The Runway" held on June 4, 2021, which featured the 8-member group wearing outfits designed by world-class Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran. The second part was "The Showcase" held on June 11, 2021, that highlighted the girls’ background stories, personalities and talents, and where they also released the official music video for their debut single Born To Win.

Background

After two years of rigorous training under Star Hunt Academy, followed by six months in a pre-debut period, BINI was officially launched as ABS-CBN Entertainment's new girl group. They joined their brother group BGYO, and another girl group MNL48 in the company's roster of idol groups.

BINI's official launch event was organized by Star Hunt Academy, Star Magic Philippines and KTX.ph, ABS-CBN's digital/livestream events portal.

Announcement

On May 4, 2021, BINI released its first teaser with sets of photos and a poster with the phrase "Are you ready for the BINIverse?". On May 8, 2021, they announced the official debut would be held in a two-part livestream event: "The Runway" and "The Showcase", held on June 4, and June 11, 2021 respectively. Tickets for the two-part event were made available through KTX.ph. Ticket went on sale the same day, with options of General Admission tickets and limited-slot VIP tickets that included a meet-and-greet with BINI members.

Launch Event

The Runway

The Runway, held on June 04, 2021, featured BINI members wearing outfits designed by Francis Libiran. He designed a total of 24 outfits, wherein each look was meant to showcase each member with the three main fashion themes in mind.

Crown of Victory	Inspired Filipiniana ensembles that combined traditional butterfly sleeves with modern elements.

The BINI members showcased all the outfits in a fashion runway show with a twist of additional choreography. They used 3 instrumental versions of their debut single while doing the runway.

The Showcase

The Showcase is the main event of the launch held on June 11, 2021. It featured a brief background and training journey of each members and their realizations towards being an official member of BINI. The also showcased performances in sub-unit groups.

Aside from these performances, they also held live interviews and answered questions from the media. The members received messages from their training coaches - their Filipino Coaches from Star Hunt Academy and South Korean coaches from MU Doctor.

They also received a heartfelt message from Direk Lauren Dyogi, who created the Star Hunt Academy program, who announced that BINI together with their brother group BGYO will release full albums, official merchandise and will have a joint concert in the last quarter of 2021.

BGYO members also made a surprise appearance and made a fan-chant to their sister group. Blooms, BINI's fanbase, also held a surprise performance, singing an original composition by a fan titled "Wait For You".

Before ending the event, the Official Music Video of BINI's debut single Born To Win was released, marking the official launch of BINI as a debuted idol group.
